With Martin and Barbara back from New Zealand, Fedva invited us to dinner at her nice Madison Park apartment. Most of us have sailed with Martin on his Swan 37, raced or cruised in the San Juan or Gulf Islands and up in Desolation Sound. We've shared lots of wonderful sailing trips, and this was the first time we had seen each other in years. Kathleen O told us about sailing from SF to Florida on a Nor'Sea 27 via the Panama Canal. Barbara told us about her grandson's climbing accident and hostital survival. Whew-he's out! Kathleen did the Dolma appetizers and Fedva produced her special individual filo creation stuffed with chicken and mushrooms - delicious! We had Turkish coffee and Kataifi, a sweet shredded phyllo with spices, nuts and honey syrup. Wow - I didn't like it a bit! What a delightful evening with friends. Thank you all!
Please enjoy these shared snapshots - these pics are good therapy for me.
